ChemStow Ltd. — Code of Conduct

1. Purpose and Scope

This Code of Conduct sets out the ethical principles, values, and standards that guide how we work at ChemStow Ltd. It applies to all employees, directors, contractors, and business partners representing or working with ChemStow in any capacity.

Our goal is to maintain trust, integrity, and professionalism in everything we do — from product development to customer interaction and industry collaboration.

All ChemStow representatives are expected to:

  • Avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them immediately if they arise.
  • Treat colleagues, clients, and partners with respect and courtesy.
  • Protect confidential information and intellectual property.
  • Represent the company in a manner that upholds its reputation and values.

4. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

We comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including:

  • Data protection (GDPR, UK Data Protection Act).
  • Anti-bribery and corruption laws.
  • Export control and sanctions regulations.
  • Maritime and environmental compliance frameworks.

No employee or representative should ever engage in illegal or unethical behavior under any circumstances.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

All employees and partners must handle company and client data responsibly.
Confidential or sensitive information — including software code, technical data, and customer records — must be stored securely and only shared on a need-to-know basis.

Any suspected data breach must be reported immediately to management or the Data Protection Officer.

6. Workplace Behavior

ChemStow maintains a positive and inclusive working environment.
We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind.
  • Bullying, intimidation, or abusive language.
  • Substance abuse or unsafe behavior at work.

Everyone should feel safe, respected, and empowered to contribute fully.

7. Anti-Bribery and Corruption

We have zero tolerance for bribery, fraud, or corruption.
Employees and representatives must not:

  • Offer, solicit, or accept bribes or improper payments.
  • Provide gifts or entertainment that could influence business decisions.
    All business dealings must be transparent, fair, and properly recorded.

8. Conflicts of Interest

Avoid situations where personal interests conflict with company interests.
If a potential conflict arises (e.g., financial interest in a vendor or competitor), it must be disclosed to management immediately.

9. Reporting Misconduct

Employees and partners are encouraged to speak up if they see or suspect unethical behavior.

10. Enforcement and Consequences

Breaches of this Code may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contract, and — where applicable — legal proceedings.
